However, in my research, I found that all Lululemon leggings geared toward women are made of Nylon combined with elastane fibers to provide more stretch. You can assume that lulu leggings are near impractical to shrink due to the risks involved like melting of fibers, getting out of shape, or total damage.
For example, Lulu’s Wunder Train High Rise consists of 77% nylon and 23% Lycra Elastane. Trusting my research, no matter which Lululemon leggings you look at, they will contain over 70% nylon, and the rest is Elastane. Now you know that Nylon needs a very high temperature for its dimensions to contras,t and if you reach that temperature, either the fabric will start to melt or your dryer and washing machine will face damage. Both situations will cause the loss of resources, and it’s not worth that risk.
So IMO, the best bet will be to opt for your regular size, and the stretch of legging will, over time, starts to fit your legs just comfortably.
Do lululemon Align leggings shrink?
Lululemon Align leggings are undoubtedly great yoga leggings that offer countless features like lightweight design, 4-way stretch, soft, invisible pockets, sweat-wicking, breathable, and more. However, cause it is made up of 81% nylon, the lululemon align leggings can not be shrunk under normal conditions.
I know why you’re asking this question, mainly cause the legging becomes baggier in some places. The best way to shrink the lulu’s aligned leggings is to get a blow drier and air out the baggy with the highest heat setting. You may be able to shrink it there, but I don’t recommend doing it as it may further stretch out due to the melting of nylon and elastane fabric.
IMO, you don’t have to worry about shrinking because they are made up of very durable and stretchy materials that tend to stretch and not shrink.
Do lululemon leggings shrink in the dryer?
No lululemon leggings will not shrink in the dryer in normal conditions because the synthetic fibers need a very high temperature for the contraction to happen in their dimensions which an average user will never dare to do. Because primarily, for lululemon leggings, the possibility of shrinkage is much lesser than that of getting stretched out in high heat settings. Lulu offers a very few cotton leggings range that you can try shrinking.
That’s why I don’t advise you to put the lulu leggings in a tumble drier at the highest setting; I would recommend you to do as stated in the care instruction for your leggings because instead of shrinking, your legging will lose their shine and quality for that you brought it in the first place.

You don’t have to avoid lululemon leggings from shrinkage because they will not shrink. The durability of the lulu materials allows the item’s sizing to hold naturally without shrinking.
Nonetheless, you should still follow the wash/care instructions provided so that your legging keep your leggings on for the longest time.
